Matthew and Mary Whelan serve as missionaries throughout the United States and beyond. Founders of both Freedom Mission Int. and Freedom Kids™, Matthew and Mary serve the Body of Christ and the poor around the world. The Whelan's have five children of their own and have served countless underprivileged youth for over a two decades.
In desiring to raise and disciple their children in the love and truth of Jesus, the Whelan's envisioned a program to connect early learning development with God’s Word. As a result, Freedom Kids™ was birthed! Soon thereafter, using this creative new Bible program, their son Elijah was reading numerous Bible words and reciting over 20 Scriptures at the age of three!
In creating Freedom Kids™, the Whelan’s heart is to see a young generation discipled and equipped in the Truth while helping parents, teachers, churches and missions around the globe “train up a child in The Way they should go”! (Proverbs 22:6)
